Alexandra Hospital Foundation Logo

Alexandra Hospital Foundation was incorporated in 1997 and officially opened its office with a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 7, 1998. Since the inception over $6.5 million has been funded to the Alexandra Hospital from the Foundation!

The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who are represented from the municipalities of South West Oxford Township, Township of Zorra and the Town of Ingersoll.

These Board volunteers work with the community to raise funds through a variety of avenues including; special events, memorial and tribute donations, bequests and planned gifts.  The Board also manages the investment of funds and approves policies of the Foundation.

Alexandra Hospital Foundation receives monies such as grants, donations, gifts and the proceeds of fund raising projects.  The money purchases medical equipment, supports capital needs and aids in assisting The Alexandra Hospital to provide the optimum in patient care.  The Alexandra Hospital does not receive funding from the government to support the purchase of patient care capital equipment.

Hugo is our latest campagin for which we are raising funds.  Hugo is a major software extension of the electronic patient record.  This new software has the ability to increase patient safety, save health care costs and improve processes and the workflow of your healthcare team.

Alexandra Hospital Foundation is a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (Charity Business Number 86907 7768 RR001).
