About Us

Since opening our doors in 1997, Alexandra Hospital Foundation has raised over $7.1 million for equipment purchases for Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll.

The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, who live and/or work in the community.

The Board and the Foundation Executive Director work with the community to raise funds through a variety of avenues, including special events, memorial and tribute donations, bequests and planned gifts.  The Board also manages the investment of funds and approves policies of the Foundation.

Alexandra Hospital Foundation receives monies such as grants, donations, gifts and the proceeds of fundraising projects.  The money purchases medical equipment, supports capital needs and aids in assisting Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll to provide the optimum in patient care.

The Alexandra Hospital Foundation also hosts a quarterly 50/50 Raffle (Lottery Licence # RAF1361939) with which proceeds aid Alexandra Hospital.

Our Valuable Donors

Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll could not function without the generous donations of our  donors. Hospitals do not receive government funding to support the purchase of patient care capital equipment. Alexandra Hospital Foundation works with donors to raise funds to ensure the hospital keeps pace with changing technology and advances in the delivery of health care.

The Foundation raises money through donations, bequests, planned gifts, grants, special events and fundraising campaigns.

Alexandra Hospital Foundation is a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (Charity Business Number 86907 7768 RR001).
